Iran ranks among top 10 countries in infertility treatment

Pars Today – The head of the Iranian Scientific Association for Infertility and Reproductive Health announced that Iran has been ranked among the top 10 countries in the world for infertility treatment.

Hamid Choubineh, head of the association, stated that Iran is at a very advanced level in assisted reproductive techniques and has full scientific capability to address infertility challenges.

According to Pars Today, Choubineh stated that all assisted reproductive techniques commonly used in advanced countries are also available in Iran, emphasizing that the country’s position is evident both in scientific output and in the interest of foreign patients seeking treatment in Iran.

He noted that about a decade ago, the Vice President of the Italian Senate mentioned the interest in referring European infertile couples to Iran, citing skilled doctors, the scientific reliability of treatments, lower costs, tourist attractions, and the absence of long waiting lists as the reasons.

Choubineh added that fortunately, there is no shortage of infertility treatment services in Iran, most of the consumables are produced domestically, and patients have always been able to access the latest techniques available worldwide.
