China responds to Araghchi: SCO ready to help restore peace in the region

Pars Today – China’s Foreign Ministry announced in a statement that the country is prepared to work with member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the international community to accelerate the restoration of peace in West Asia.

The statement affirmed China’s readiness to cooperate with SCO member states in developing a political solution and expediting the process of peace restoration in West Asia. In response to Araghchi’s inquiry regarding Israeli aggression against Iran, the Chinese Foreign Ministry stated: “A long-standing and traditional friendship links the peoples of China and Iran. China remains committed to maintaining friendly cooperation with Iran for the benefit of both peoples and to contributing positively to regional peace and stability in West Asia.” (IRNA)
