Jolani government declares ceasefire

Pars Today- The presidency of the Syrian interim government announced the establishment of a ceasefire and the end of the conflict with Druze militias in the Province of Sweida.

The so-called Syrian presidency announced in a statement: "In light of the critical conditions of the country and in order to prevent the bloodshed of the Syrian people and preserve the integrity of this country, as well as in line with national and humanitarian responsibility, the presidency of Syria declares a comprehensive and immediate ceasefire."

The statement reads: "The presidency of Syria calls on everyone to provide the basis for government institutions and its forces to implement this ceasefire responsibly in order to establish stability in this country and stop the bloodshed. /IRNA
