Jordanian FM: Syria’s security is a pillar of regional stability

Pars Today – Jordan’s foreign minister has underscored his country’s support for the security, stability, and sovereignty of Syria, calling Syria’s security a cornerstone of regional stability.

The US Ambassador to Turkey and Special Envoy for Syria, Thomas Barrack, met with Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi to discuss the situation in Syria.

The two sides reviewed efforts to maintain the ceasefire in Suwayda Province, emphasizing the importance of implementing the agreement to protect Syria’s territorial integrity and its citizens, prevent further bloodshed, safeguard civilians, and uphold state authority and the rule of law.
