Former European lawmaker: The West is complicit in war crimes by supporting Israel’s apartheid regime

Mick Wallace, former member of the European Parliament, on Sunday, in response to the recent remarks by Josep Borrell, former EU foreign policy chief, regarding the catastrophic situation in Gaza and the need to sanction the Zionist regime, accused Western governments of supporting the "Israeli apartheid regime" and committing war crimes. In a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Wallace criticized Borrell’s record during his tenure, writing: “Where were you when you could have done something to stop this genocide? You did nothing. Worse than that, you supported and strengthened the Israeli apartheid regime, while pretending everything started on October 7 (the Al-Aqsa Storm operation on October 7, 2023). This [situation] began in 1948, thanks to Europe and the U.S. You are all guilty of war crimes.” (IRNA)
