Head of Iranian Red Crescent Society requests WHO to send medicine to Gaza

Pars Today – The head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society has sent a letter to the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), calling for the facilitation of medicine and humanitarian aid delivery to the Gaza Strip.

Pir-Hossein Kolivand stated in a letter addressed to Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the WHO, on Sunday: 

"At a time when the world is facing one of the most catastrophic humanitarian crises in the Gaza Strip, the moral and humanitarian responsibility of international institutions necessitates immediate action to save the lives of defenseless civilians—especially children, pregnant women, and the sick."/ IRIB News Agency
