French FM: EU will sanction Israel

Pars Today – The French Foreign Minister stated that the European Union is considering sanctions against the Zionist regime due to its actions in the Gaza Strip and its failure to provide adequate humanitarian aid.

Jean-Noël Barrot, France’s foreign minister, said: “We are deeply shocked by what has happened in Gaza in recent months. What is happening in this region is disgraceful and shameful and must be stopped.” He added that the European Union intends to vote in favor of imposing sanctions on the Zionist regime and noted that the European Commission has proposed a series of restrictive measures against Israel.

Barrot also expressed Paris’s concern over Israel’s aid distribution system in Gaza and urged the regime to ensure the delivery of French aid currently located in the city of Al-Arish, Egypt. /IRNA
