Ghalibaf in meeting with Finnish counterpart: West applies double standards in Gaza war

Pars Today – The Speaker of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Parliament, during a meeting with his Finnish counterpart, emphasized that human rights, justice, and humanitarian issues hold significant importance in Iranian culture and civilization. He stated, "The West applies double standards in dealing with the Gaza war." 

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of Iran’s Parliament, met with Jussi Halla-aho, Speaker of the Finnish Parliament, on the sidelines of the Sixth World Speakers’ Summit in Geneva. He noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran has never taken a dual approach in addressing international issues, adding, "This is evident in the case of Gaza and even the Russia-Ukraine war." 

Ghalibaf stressed, "Iran never supports aggression and does not recognize it as legitimate. However, comparing the humanitarian conditions of the war in Gaza with those of the Russia-Ukraine war is an incomparable difference."/ IRIB News Agency
