Pars Today – Concurrent with the visit of the Israeli foreign minister to Somaliland, Cairo firmly rejected any attempt to link this move to the forced relocation of Palestinians.

Badr Abdel-Aati, Egypt’s foreign minister, condemned Israel’s recognition of Somaliland, describing it as a clear violation of Somalia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and contrary to international law.

Speaking at a meeting of the African Union Peace and Security Council, Abdel-Aati stressed that this decision poses a threat to the stability of the Horn of Africa region and international security, and should not be met with silence.

The Egyptian foreign minister also categorically rejected any plan to forcibly relocate Palestinians to the area, describing such actions as unacceptable and contrary to the UN Charter and the African Union. / IRNA
