Iranian diplomat: Iran-Pakistan relations enter new phase following recent developments

Pars Today – The Director General of South Asia at the Iranian Foreign Ministry stated on Saturday that Iran-Pakistan relations have entered a new phase following recent developments.

Mohammad Reza Bahrami, in a post on the social media platform X regarding the visit of Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian to Islamabad on Saturday, wrote: "Iran-Pakistan relations have entered a new phase in light of recent developments."

He added that "the political dynamics, the broader regional context, and the strong will of both sides’ high-ranking officials are driving this new chapter in bilateral relations." He emphasized that "key priorities in this phase could focus on security and the economy."
