U.S. Senator: Gaza has turned into hell on Earth

Pars Today – A Democratic senator from Maryland has warned that the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip has become “hell on Earth,” and that the enclave is on the brink of a “full-blown famine.”

Senator Chris Van Hollen wrote on the social media platform X on Saturday night: “The humanitarian crisis in Gaza has gone from horrific to hell on Earth. Over 60,000 people have been killed, many of them women and children.”

He added, “The Netanyahu government must allow the aid distribution system under UN management to resume. Children are starving, and we are on the verge of a full-scale famine.”
