Requirements for admission of non-Iranian applicants to Shiraz University
General conditions:
- Possession of a valid foreign passport (the applicant must not hold Iranian citizenship).
- Approval from the Organization for Student Affairs confirming that there are no legal obstacles to the applicant’s continuation of studies at the respective university (this approval is obtained after completing the academic admission form on the official website of the organization and the portal for non-Iranian students).
- Approval of the applicant’s general eligibility by the Organization for Student Affairs (this involves correspondence and obtaining confirmation from relevant authorities, in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Islamic Republic of Iran).
Specific conditions:
- Applicants must provide their most recent academic certificate (diploma or degree) obtained from their home country, along with a complete transcript of grades for that level in order to apply for admission to a higher level.
- All required documents (academic certificate and transcript) must be officially translated into Persian and English, authenticated and certified by the Embassy or Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
- Before enrolling in their chosen faculty and field of study, applicants are required to complete a Persian language course at the Persian Language Center. In cases where the applicant requests instruction in English, admission will be subject to an interview and language proficiency evaluation, followed by approval from the relevant academic department.
