Pars Today – The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Sunday evening strongly condemned the renewed desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque by extremist Zionists, led by one of the criminal ministers of the Israeli cabinet.

Ismaeil Baghaei emphasized that this violation—which is a clear affront to the sanctity and religious status of Al-Aqsa Mosque, as well as a blatant breach of United Nations resolutions—is yet another sign of the Zionist regime's malicious intent to perpetuate tensions and crises in occupied Palestine and the wider region.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson stressed that Al-Aqsa Mosque, as the first qibla of Muslims, holds a special place of reverence among Muslims and the Palestinian people. The Zionist cult ruling occupied Palestine, through its acts of desecration, seeks to alter the Islamic and historical identity of Al-Quds, provoke the sentiments of Muslims worldwide, and escalate tensions in the Occupied Territories.

He reiterated that “a unified Jerusalem is the eternal capital of Palestine” and that the international community has a responsibility to compel the occupying regime to cease its racist and criminal policies against the land and people of Palestine.
