Lebanese rally in support of Hezbollah
Pars Today – A group of Lebanese citizens gathered in southern Lebanon on Monday evening to show support for Hezbollah, chanting slogans in solidarity with the resistance movement.
On the eve of a cabinet session to decide on the issue of disarming Hezbollah, crowds took to the streets in the Mashrafieh and Kafaat districts in the southern suburbs of Beirut to oppose such measures. Protesters chanted slogans such as "Labbaik Ya Nasrallah", voicing their support for Hezbollah and rejecting U.S. interference in Lebanon’s internal affairs and its attempts to pressure the government into disarming the resistance.
Previously, Ali Fayyad, a member of Hezbollah’s “Loyalty to the Resistance” parliamentary bloc, stated that the first priority should be ending Israeli occupation and aggression against Lebanon before discussing any other issues.
