United Nations condemns the killing of journalists in Gaza by the Zionist regime
Pars Today – The spokesperson for the United Nations condemned on Sunday evening the killing of journalists in Gaza by the Zionist regime and called for an investigation into the matter.
Stephane Dujarric, in a statement regarding the martyrdom of journalists from Al Jazeera news network in Gaza, said: We are currently examining the events of Sunday in Gaza and have always explicitly condemned all cases of journalists being killed. Journalists must be able to carry out their work freely wherever necessary, without harassment, intimidation, or fear of being targeted.
The UN spokesperson emphasized: It is essential that journalists be allowed free access to all areas of Gaza and report independently on the situation there.
Palestinian media reported early Monday morning that the Israeli army launched a drone attack on the journalists’ tent in front of the main gate of the Al-Shifa medical complex in Gaza City, resulting in the martyrdom of a number of journalists, including two Al Jazeera reporters.
