Pars Today – The march for those who could not attend the Arbaeen pilgrimage took place in Tehran on Thursday, simultaneously with other cities across Iran.

The procession began at Imam Hossein Square and continued to the holy shrine of Hazrat Abdul Azim Hasani in the city of Rey under the slogan “I Pledge.”

On Arbaeen, similar marches for those unable to travel to Karbala are being held today in 500 cities across Iran. Last year, approximately 14 million people participated in the Arbaeen Walk, and this year the number is expected to reach around 15 million. / IRNA
