2019 AFC Champions League: Persepolis ِdraw 1-1 with Pakhtakor

Persepolis of Iran have begun their 2019 AFC Champions League campaign with a 1-all draw against Pakhtakor of Uzbekistan in Group D.

According to Press TV, Pakhtakor capitalized on a loose play in defense by Persepolis to open the scoring after just 5 minutes of play. Parity was restored after 20 minutes when Mario Budimir found the net with a low shot from inside the box.

The two sides had scoring chances in the second half, but neither were able to get the job done.
