AFC Champions League: Al-Ittahad 2-1 Zobahan

Iran’s Zobahan have suffered a 2-1 loss against Saudi Club, Al-Ittahad in Dubai, in the 1st leg of the 2019 AFC Champions League Round of 16.

According to Press TV, the Iranian side got on the score-sheet, only 7 minutes into the march, when Ghasem Haddadifar scored with a world class free-kick.

It didn’t take long for Al-Ittahad to level the match, after Chilean midfielder Luis Antonio tucked the ball home from close range in the 9th minute.

The Saudi Side showed a better performance after the break, and took the lead when Ziyad A-Sahafi headed the winning goal from a corner kick in the 72nd minute.

With the Victory, Al-Ittahad have the upper hand for the 2nd leg, which will take place on the 12th of August.
