Araghchi: U.S. economic pressure will fail

Pars Today – Iran’s Foreign Minister, referring to U.S. economic threats against Iran, said: “This move of theirs will fail.”

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, speaking on the sidelines of a ceremony in which members of Iran’s government renewed their allegiance to the ideals of Imam Khomeini (God bless his soul), the founder of the Islamic Revolution, commented on U.S. economic pressure against Iran, saying: “We have never been afraid of siege or threats.”

He stressed: “All their moves, whether the siege or military action, have failed, and this move of theirs will also fail.”

In another interview, Araghchi said: “They cannot come up with a solution to deal with the great Iranian nation and keep bringing forward the same repeated plans. They must understand that there is no way forward other than speaking respectfully with the Iranian people and finding a solution based on justice and dignity.”
