President congratulates Muslim countries on Eid al-Fitr

President Hassan Rouhani congratulated Islamic heads of state and nations on Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the blessed month of Ramadan.

According to Tasnim News Agency, the President in separate messages sent to world Muslims and their leaders on Thursday, expressed hope for the consolidation of the bonds of friendship among all Muslims across the globe, and the growth and promotion of Islamic culture.

He also expressed hope that with the blessing of Eid, the coronavirus pandemic will be curbed in the world.

Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan, is an important religious event celebrated by Muslims.
