President Rouhani inaugurates major transportation projects
President Hassan Rouhani on Thursday launched major projects carried out by the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development and Ministry of Sport and Youth.
According to Tasnim news agency, the 37 projects inaugurated by the president via video links included construction of highways and sea ports, road maintenance, and construction of sports halls.
They were implemented in the Provinces of Fars, Mazandaran, Hormozgan and Bushehr and completed with an investment of over 210 trillion rials.
In the past few months, the president has inaugurated major projects in different fields every week.
He said in May that the inaugurations every Thursday show well that the Iranian nation is powerful and that sanctions cannot hinder their path of development and progress.
