Iranians mark passing away anniversary of Imam Khomeini

Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini (God’s mercy upon him), the late Founder of the Islamic Republic, passed away on June 3, 1989. Millions of people took part in his burial ceremony. Imam Khomeini led the Islamic Revolution against the Pahlavi regime.
