Pars Today - Russian Iranologist, poet, and writer Ludmila Avdiova believes that contemporary Iran has traversed a long path of progress that would have taken centuries in just a few decades, and has become an exemplary country for the East and West.

Avdiova, who has written eight books about the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (God’s mercy upon him), and the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, expressed these views in an interview with IRNA reporter in Moscow.

This Russian lady, who lived in Iran as the wife of a Soviet diplomat during the Islamic Revolution, believes that Iran is one of the most brilliant and prominent countries with its own unique spiritual culture.

With experience of teaching Russian language in Tehran, she stated: "I worked in Iran for a long time, both before and after the Revolution, and witnessed the Iran-Iraq War. Therefore, I can say that Iran has made remarkable progress in recent years, which is the achievement of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the hardworking and diligent people of Iran."

This Russian poet also noted: "Iran's ancient culture is rich in literary, architectural, and artistic treasures that are unattainable for many countries."

Avdiova emphasized the need to expand Iran-Russia relations to counter the unfair global management structure, saying: "In the current situation, we must develop Iran-Russia relations, especially since our countries share common views and positions."

She also stated: "Iran and Russia have common cultural and spiritual roots. The people of both countries are largely hardworking and determined to elevate their countries to the highest level."
