  • WFPIST secretary general: US and allies intend to control West Asian energy resources

Pars Today- Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought said, "The aim of the US and its allies is to control energy resources in West Asia."

Hojjat-ol-Islam Shahriari, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, said in a conference in Russia, "The WFPIST announces its readiness to play a constructive role in attaining a new global order including pluralism."

Speaking at the conference, "Just and Multipolar Global Order and Safe Development" held by the Strategic Vision Group of Russia-the Islamic World on the sideline of the 2024 session in Kazan, Shahriari stated, "The aim of this conference is to use opportunities of cooperation between the Islamic countries and the Russian Federation amidst the rapid change of political conditions in the world, review the Islamic world issues and discuss on contemporary opportunities and challenges for the entire world."

He added, "As a result of imposition of the will of the Global Arrogance to achieve the illegitimate goals of the US and its allies, the world is today witness to genocide in Gaza and the war in Ukraine. These two problems show that the Global Arrogance, led by NATO, makes use of every tool to reach its goals and the lives of innocent people do not matter for it."

Mr. Sahriari explained, "The United States and its allies have waged many wars in Europe and West Asia to achieve their interests. Through warmongering in Ukraine, they prevent the passage of the Russian gas into Europe and also, with supporting the fake Israeli government, they are seeking to achieve their interests in West Asia."

The secretary general of the WFPIST went on to say, "Through controlling energy resources in West Asia, they try to achieve their interests in the region which they had designed after WWII. In this new order, the world justice-seekers have got united and are calling for battle against oppression and condemnation of massacre of the innocent and warmongering."

He stressed, "This is a humane awakening on the side of the oppressed people of the world who obey humane values and hate the world oppressive capitalists who build up only 1 percent of the global population."

Hojjat-ol-Islam Shahriari reiterated, "The genuine religion of Islam, with supporting the oppressed across the world, has proved in its history that it is able to protect all oppressed and unite their ranks for resistance against the oppression of Pharaohs and the followers of Kora and reaching victory."

Shahriari, then pointed to the Palestinian developments and said, "The Operation al-Aqsa Storm took place as the result of years of injustice, siege and carnage of the oppressed people of Gaza beside the silence and failure of the international organizations and civil bodies."

Saying that the oppressed people of Gaza have resisted for more than 7 months against the savage attacks of the Zionists, he made it clear, "During this period, over 40 thousand people have been killed or gone missing, nearly 80 thousand women, children and youth have been injured. And 2 million people, whose houses have been bombarded, have become homeless."

The WFPIST secretary general stated that the supporters of the Zionist regime, led by the US and some of the Western countries, have mobilized all their abilities behind this usurper regime to prevent its dissolution, and continued, "They consider the survival of this regime in the region as a guarantee for continuation of materialization of their interests in the region. What was hidden has been laid bare, the ambitions of the Global Arrogance have been laid bare more than ever and the falsehood of the mottos of freedom and defense of human rights have been exposed."
