Pars Today – Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel has stressed the urgent need for sweeping reforms at the United Nations, describing BRICS as a symbol of hope for a world free from chaos.
In a message posted on X, Díaz-Canel wrote: “The arrogant behavior of certain UN member states has plunged the organization into chaos and rendered it ineffective.”
He added: “The UN was created 80 years ago to ensure that war would not replace diplomacy and peaceful conflict resolution.”
The Cuban leader praised BRICS’s commitment to a fairer and more inclusive global order, saying the group promotes shared values of peace, cooperation, and solidarity.
