Pars Today - The extensive coverage of the funeral and burial ceremony of Ayatollah Raeisi, the martyred President of Iran, in Arab media outlets, Bahrain's willingness to normalize relations with Iran, the Zionist regime's officials and media admission of defeat against Islamic resistance in Palestine, and the resistance front's missile and drone response to Israel's crimes in Gaza are among the most important developments in West Asia in the past few hours.

Regional media outlets covered the funeral ceremony of Martyr Ayatollah Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi, the late President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, live on Thursday, concurrent with the ceremony held in Mashhad.

Lebanon's Al-Manar network extensively covered the ceremony, announcing that millions of Iranians from different parts of the country had gathered in Mashhad to pay tribute to the late President and participate in his funeral procession.

The network described Martyr Raeisi as "a servant of the people, a martyr of the republic, a divine scholar, and a pious individual whose place in the Islamic world will remain vacant."

Lebanon's Al-Ahed news agency also covered the ceremony, selecting the title "Millions Attend Martyr Raeisi's Funeral in Mashhad" and broadcasting it live on its front page.

The Syrian news agency also reported on the funeral procession of Martyr Raeisi to his eternal resting place, attended by millions of Iranians.

Bahrain's King: No reason to delay normalizing relations with Iran

Meanwhile, according to ISNA, Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa emphasized his country's support for reviving relations with Tehran during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Thursday.

The King stated that Bahrain wants to normalize relations with Iran, adding that there is no reason to delay this process.

Former Zionist regime military official: Army unable to defeat Hamas

Regarding the developments in Gaza, former Zionist regime military official, Major General Itzhak Brik, admitted that the army is unable to defeat the Islamic resistance movement, Hamas.

The Walla website of the Zionist regime also reported that the security chiefs and negotiating team of this regime have in a meeting admitted that they must reach an agreement with Hamas at any cost, even if it means considering the movement's recent proposal and offering more concessions.

Iraqi resistance drone attack on Eilat and Haifa ports in Occupied Territories

According to IRNA, the Iraqi Islamic resistance launched a drone attack on the Israeli port of Haifa in response to Israel's crimes in Gaza.

The Iraqi Islamic resistance announced that it had targeted the occupied Haifa port with a drone early Friday morning, as part of the second phase of its resistance operation against the occupying regime and in support of the people of Gaza.

The Iraqi Islamic resistance had also launched a drone attack on a key target in the occupied Eilat port on Thursday night in response to the Zionist regime's crimes in Gaza.

Lebanon's Hezbollah also announced that it had targeted a gathering of Zionist military forces in the settlement of Yaron in northern occupied Palestine with a missile attack on Thursday night.
