Arab world analyst: West fomenting Ukraine war while lying on Iran

Pars Today- Famous Arab analyst informed of the ever-increasing concern of the US and NATO over Iran's progress in military industries.

Abdel Bari Atwan, noted British Arab analyst said, "The US allegations against Iran, pertaining to sending ballistic missiles to Russia, indicate the ever-increasing concern of the US and NATO over Iran's military advancement, particularly in the missile sector which is considered a challenge for NATO and its military status in the battlefield especially in West Asia. According to Pars Today, Atwan in an article for daily Raialyoum, rejecting the allegations raised on the American daily Wall Street Journal about Iran's ballistic missiles being sent to Russia, wrote, "It is amazing that this allegation against Iran is raised under conditions while the US Department of State has informed of sending an arms cargo worth $250 million to Ukraine."

Referring to the remarks of the Iranian envoy in the UN, he added, "Iran's ambassador in the UN has strongly rejected the news released on the American daily Wall Street Journal and, calling it misleading and baseless, stressed that the US, France and Britain have embarked on publishing this false news."

This famous journalist of the Arab world, quoting from Iran's UN envoy, reiterated that sending Western advanced arms to Ukraine, especially by the US, is the cause of prolongation of the war.

According to Atwan, the US government is also seeking to transfer long-range missiles to Ukraine whereby to hit deep inside the Russian soil. This issue is considered by Moscow as direct intervention in the war and trespassing all its redlines.

Abdel Bari Atwan continued, "This is the climax of hypocrisy to deem it as halal (permissible) to send modern arms worth billions of dollars, including F16 fighters, Patriot missiles and new tanks to Ukraine, but not to the other party involved in the conflict."

Atwan, then pointed to the growing decline of the US' status across the world due to its support for Israeli crimes in Gaza, and made it clear that the US, fearing of the Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu and the Zionist lobby, has failed to stop the war against Gaza.

Stressing that the American era is over, Atwan concluded his article, "A new multipolar system is emerging in the world in which the US status is like that of the past colonialist empires such as France, Britain, Portugal and Belgium."
