Iran produces herbal medicine for treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia
Pars Today- Researchers at an Iranian knowledge-based company have successfully developed herbal medicine for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), which will soon enter the market.
"Benign prostatic hyperplasia " is one of the most common problems in men over 50, which causes frequent urination, pain during urination, and reduced urine flow.
According to Pars Today, quoted by IRNA, director of the Iranian knowledge-based company, Ali Asghar Sa'edi said: The produced medicine contains effective herbal compounds including Cucurbita pepo, Palm Pollen, along with vitamins E and C, and minerals such as selenium and zinc, which, in addition to treating BPH, also helps to improve fertility and sexual health.
According to Sa'edi, this herbal medicine, which is the result of years of research and development based on effective herbal compounds, can be a suitable alternative to chemical drugs with numerous side effects.
This activist in the field of medicinal herbs added: The main advantage of this drug over chemical counterparts is the absence of side effects such as decreased libido, dizziness, and low blood pressure, which are commonly observed with the long-term use of chemical drugs.
Based on the studies, this drug, by reducing the volume of the prostate gland and improving the function of the urinary system, can significantly enhance the quality of life for patients.
