World Assembly of Islamic Awakening: Israeli regime’s attack on Qatar is an obvious war crime and political assassination

Pars Today – The World Assembly of Islamic Awakening, in a statement condemning the Israeli regime’s crime against the Palestinian negotiating delegation, declared:

“This heinous act is not only an obvious war crime but also a political assassination, a violation of Qatar’s national sovereignty as the host country, and a blatant breach of fundamental principles of international law, including the United Nations Charter and the Geneva Conventions.”

The World Assembly of Islamic Awakening, in a statement condemning the Israeli regime’s crime against the Palestinian peace negotiating delegation in Qatar, added:

“With deep sorrow and anger, the international community witnessed a horrific and unforgivable crime by the Israeli regime: a deliberate and direct airstrike on the headquarters of the Palestinian peace negotiating delegation in Qatar, who were carrying out a humanitarian and diplomatic mission to achieve a ceasefire and alleviate the suffering of the oppressed people of Gaza.”

The statement continued:

“The martyrdom of several members of this peace-committed diplomatic delegation reflects the ongoing policy of the occupying Zionist regime to destroy any political solution and suppress every voice calling for justice and an end to bloodshed. This crime has extended the boundaries of war beyond the battlefield and targeted diplomacy itself, an act that marks an extremely dangerous precedent in the history of international relations.”

The World Assembly of Islamic Awakening noted that this attack took place with the explicit and open support of U.S. President Donald Trump. Previously, Trump facilitated Israeli aggression and expansionism by moving the U.S. embassy to al-Quds and presenting the so-called “Deal of the Century,” and through his financial, military, and political backing became a direct partner in these crimes. The statement added that the silence and inaction of certain powers and international bodies amounts to complicity in these crimes.

The statement emphasized that the World Assembly of Islamic Awakening calls on the United Nations Security Council, the International Criminal Court, and all global human rights institutions to immediately establish an independent international commission of inquiry to investigate and determine legal responsibility for this crime, issue an urgent resolution condemning the Israeli regime, and suspend its membership in all international bodies.

The World Assembly of Islamic Awakening also called on all global human rights institutions to pursue legal action against Donald Trump and senior Israeli officials as the principal perpetrators of crimes against humanity, and to impose immediate economic, military, and diplomatic sanctions on the occupying regime and its supporters.

The statement emphasized: “Global peace will never be achieved through silence in the face of oppression and terror. The martyrdom of these diplomats must serve as a wake-up call for all freedom-seeking people around the world. Today is the time to stand firm—for Palestine, for justice, for humanity.”

The Assembly stressed that if this new Israeli aggression does not receive a decisive and proportionate response from regional countries, it will undoubtedly mark the beginning of a new phase of expansionist attacks under the framework of the sinister “Greater Middle East from the Nile to the Euphrates” plan.

The statement concluded that issuing condemnation statements alone is insufficient; today, the Islamic world and Arab countries must reach fundamental solutions and implement joint practical measures to confront this regime.
