Iran’s women’s table tennis team secures convincing win over Lebanon
Pars Today – The Philippines was defeated by Iran’s women’s national wheelchair basketball team.
According to Pars Today, the first match of Iran’s women’s national wheelchair basketball team in the Asia-Oceania Championship took place on Saturday against the Philippines. In this game, the Iranian national team won decisively, 60–10.
Cambodia will be the second opponent for Iran’s women’s wheelchair basketball team in the Asia-Oceania Championship, with the match scheduled for Sunday.
Islamic Solidarity Games: Iranian women’s table tennis team defeats Lebanon
Meanwhile, Iran’s women’s national table tennis team won their first match at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, defeating Lebanon 3–0. In this match, the Iranian players won the games with scores of 7–11, 5–11, and 7–11, securing a 3–0 victory over Lebanon.
In the singles events, Setayesh Ilukhani of Iran initially lost to her Lebanese opponent 2–1, but Neda Shahsavari, another Iranian player, won her match 11–3. As a result, the Iranian team defeated Lebanon with an overall score of 8–2.
