Iranian X users: Basij Iran’s driving engine in difficult arenas
Pars Today – Iranian users on “X,” during Basij Week, described the Basij Organization as a truly popular institution that stands alongside the Iranian people in all crises.
Imam Khomeini (God bless his soul) issued the order to establish the Basij Organization on November 26, 1979. At that time, Iran was in the early days following the victory of the Revolution and facing serious and intense threats from its enemies.
This popular institution has played an important role throughout all periods, especially during the imposed wars and other crises, and even in construction and development efforts across the country.
According to Pars Today, Iranian users on “X” described the Basij as an institution that stands in solidarity with the people and supports them in all matters.
In this regard, a user named Asra Sadat wrote: “Basij members are waves of hope during floods, pillars of the people’s hearts during earthquakes, and cries of zeal in war. They are symbols of service.”
Fatemeh Banu also said: “The Basij can truly be called the most ideological and popular global resistance force.”
Another Iranian X user, Yar-e Mahdi, believes: “The Basij spirit is the driving engine in all difficult arenas. This institution has always fostered growth in Iran’s scientific, cultural, developmental, and defense fields.”
Sepehr emphasized that the Basij is not just an organization; it is a mindset—a mindset of responsibility, zeal, and steadfastness.
Mohammad Rostamverdi, an X activist, wrote: “The constant presence of the Basij during Iran’s unexpected events is a balm for the wounds of those affected by natural disasters.”
Hananeh also said: “The Basij is not confined to any geographical border or social class; it is a movement that flows throughout the land of Iran, present wherever it is needed, without seeking a name or a position.”
Ali Hosseini noted: “A Basij member is always ready for sacrifice and jihad in the way of God, at any time and place.”
Also, another Iranian X user, Mahdieh Valizadeh, wrote: “The power of the Basij comes from the hearts of the people and exists for the people. A Basij member, with deep love for Iran, stands ready like a soldier in every field. His sacrifice is not for fame or recognition, but to preserve the values and sanctity of this land.”
