IRGC: Ammunition depot, troop facilities at Ali Al Salem base destroyed

Pars Today – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it had destroyed a large ammunition depot and troop accommodation facilities at Ali Al Salem Air Base, while calling on U.S. media to investigate and report the true scale of U.S. military losses and wartime censorship.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, the IRGC said in a statement addressed to the Iranian people on Friday:

"In continuation of the punitive operations against the child-killing U.S. military and in response to the crimes of the Great Satan, the fighters of Islam carried out the 27th wave of Operation Nasr-2 a short while ago under the code phrase 'Ya Aba Saleh al-Mahdi Adrikni.' Using advanced, heavy explosive drones, they targeted a very large ammunition depot at the U.S. Ali Al Salem Base, destroying it completely through successive explosions."

The statement also called on U.S. media organizations to investigate the realities of the conflict, including alleged high U.S. military casualties, extensive damage, the financial costs of the war, and the censorship by U.S. authorities.

The statement continued:

"At the same time, the troop accommodation facilities at the base were attacked. Six large buildings were completely destroyed, while three others sustained major damage. A large number of enemy personnel were killed or wounded."

The IRGC further claimed that the United States had suffered hundreds of fatalities and many more injuries during the five-month imposed war, stressing that the daily evacuation of wounded personnel by air ambulance to a U.S. military hospital in Germany was clear evidence of the scale of the casualties. It accused the U.S. government of misleading the American public by claiming that fewer than 20 personnel had been killed.

The statement added that it is the responsibility of U.S. media organizations to investigate the realities of the conflict, including alleged high U.S. military casualties, extensive damage, the financial costs of the war, and the methods of censorship used by U.S. authorities. It concluded by stating that punitive operations against what it described as the aggressors would continue.

In a separate statement, the IRGC also announced that, during the 27th wave of Operation Nasr-2, its forces completed a previous operation against the intelligence data center of the American company Amazon, which it claimed played a key role in supporting the U.S. military. According to the statement, the remaining building of the facility was targeted and destroyed.
