Pars Today – The Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, while emphasizing Iran’s role as the primary guarantor of security in the strategic Strait of Hormuz, called for the withdrawal of foreign countries from the region.

According to Pars Today, Major General Amir Hatami, Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, said on Saturday, on the sidelines of the unveiling ceremony of the “Kordestan” floating base and the joining of the “Sahand” destroyer to the Navy fleet, addressing foreign countries: “Those who do not belong to this region and have never been here must leave the region. We and the nations of the region have been here, have lived here, and will remain here.”

Major General Amir Hatami, emphasizing the importance of peace and security in the strategic and crucial Strait of Hormuz, described Iran as the main guarantor of this security and warned: “Anyone who seeks to threaten the region’s security will face our decisive response.”

The Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army also referred to the rhetoric of the enemies, stressing: “The work of the enemy is enmity; therefore, their statements and claims hold no value. What matters is the presence of peace, stability, and security in the region.”
