Iran and Iraq sign four agreements and MoUs
Pars Today – Senior officials from the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iraq signed four cooperation agreements and memoranda of understanding aimed at expanding bilateral relations.
According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News, during the official visit of Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi and a high-level delegation to Tehran, senior officials from both countries signed four cooperation documents.
The agreements included a road freight transportation agreement, a memorandum of understanding on the construction of the Khosravi–Khanqin–Baghdad railway, a memorandum of understanding on establishing a sister-city relationship between Tehran and Baghdad, and a memorandum of understanding on public administration, training, and human resources.
The four documents were signed by senior officials from both countries in the presence of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Prime Minister of Iraq.
