Pezeshkian: Trips to Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan yield significant achievements with 14 agreements signed

Pars Today – The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated that his trips to Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan have produced notable results.
According to Pars Today, Masoud Pezeshkian, upon returning to Tehran on Friday night, said that the three-day visits to these countries brought significant achievements, helping to expand cooperation and strengthen friendly relations with neighboring states across various fields.
Masoud Pezeshkian stated that expanding and strengthening relations with friendly neighboring countries is a core policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran. In this context, he said the visits included productive talks and agreements, with 14 cooperation documents signed with Kazakhstan.
He added that Iranian traders and economic actors held fruitful discussions with their Kazakh counterparts, leading to significant agreements, and noted that constructive talks were also held on cultural and healthcare issues.
Pezeshkian, referring to the second leg of the trip and his visit to Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, added that regional leaders gathered there to attend the Peace and Confidence Summit.
He said that in separate meetings with Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, the leader, and Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the President of Turkmenistan, they had productive discussions and reviewed previous agreements. He also noted that he held talks with several other presidents and prime ministers attending the summit.
Pezeshkian also mentioned his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, noting that they held detailed discussions on strategic plans and bilateral agreements, reviewed these agreements, and emphasized to the relevant ministers the need to implement them.
He added that he also held talks with the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the President of Iraq, and the Prime Minister of Myanmar on matters of mutual interest.
The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, highlighting the valuable opportunity these trips provided to meet and engage with leaders and officials of various countries, said:
"The outcome of the trips is that our ties with neighboring countries are deepening day by day, understandings are increasing, and the challenges we face will be better addressed through interaction, cooperation, and the ongoing process."
