Spanish PM: War on Iran has cost Europe €100 billion

Pars Today – Spain’s prime minister has criticized US warmongering policies, saying the war against Iran has cost Europe €100 billion.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez wrote on his social media account on Friday: “Those of us who opposed the war were right to say ‘no’ to it.”

He added that the war against Iran had cost Europeans more than €100 billion so far. “We knew that, in the end, ordinary people would pay the price for this,” he said.

The Spanish prime minister continued: “That is why today, in Congress, we approved a ‘social shield’ worth more than €12 billion to support citizens and the sectors affected. The time has now come to put an end to this disaster.”
