Harassment of Iranians abroad by monarchist thugs
Pars Today — Reports from some cities where Iranians reside abroad indicate an increase in threatening behavior and street harassment by extremist elements affiliated with Mossad agents, targeting ordinary, non-political Iranians.
In the context of competition among anti-revolutionary political groups abroad, some of these factions, including those linked to Tel Aviv, have resorted to bullying, intimidation, and threats to recruit or control Iranians. According to Pars Today, citing Fars News Agency, every day sees new acts of hooliganism, by men and women alike, reminiscent of figures like “Shaboon Bimokh” and “Pari Bolandeh”, reproduced in these spaces.
Hooligans and thugs were historically a key part of the Pahlavi regime, used to suppress critics and instill fear among the public, with a notable example during the August 19, 1953 coup, when these individuals beat opponents and raided newspaper offices.
Interestingly, the same tactics from that era are now being reproduced abroad, even in Western countries that consider themselves modern and democratic, by Mossad agents.
These incidents occur as thugs are becoming increasingly prominent within royalist factions, using intimidation, verbal abuse, and threats against Iranians living abroad.
Recently, some of these individuals reportedly visited small Iranian shops and restaurants in groups, threatening that if they did not display photos of Reza Pahlavi, their businesses would be damaged or blocked from operating.
In Los Angeles, where there is a large community of Iranians abroad, such threats are more frequent. People who are not affiliated with Mossad or royalist factions reportedly face pressure and obstacles in carrying out their work.
Iranian users on social media have strongly protested this bullying behavior, but it is reported that these verbal abuses and threats are organized and directed within royalist networks.
