Araghchi: Trust in America is zero

Pars Today – Iran's Foreign Minister stated that no response has been given from our side to the American plan so far, saying: Our goal is to secure the interests and preserve the rights of the Iranian people.

According to Pars Today, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stated in an interview with Al Jazeera regarding negotiations between Iran and the United States: The reality is that we do not have a good experience negotiating with the United States. We negotiated once and reached an agreement, but the US withdrew from it without reason. In the past year and this year, we negotiated twice, and the result was an attack; therefore, there is no trust that we can reach a result through negotiation, and this trust is at zero level. It is natural that whenever a negotiation proposal is made by them, the first thing that is necessary to examine is how sincere they are in their proposal. We do not see any sincerity. There is no trust, and great actions must be taken to build trust."
