Pars Today – A member of the National Security Committee of Iran’s Parliament stated that Trump’s ceasefire is a ploy for surprise and regrouping, adding that the armed forces are ready with their fingers on the trigger to neutralize any new sedition.

According to Pars Today, Alaeddin Boroujerdi, a member of the National Security Committee of Iran’s Parliament, explaining the hidden objectives of the U.S. government behind the proposal to extend the ceasefire, said: The experience of the first round showed that Trump explicitly uses the ceasefire opportunity to rebuild forces, equip resources, and redeploy troops. The Islamic Republic of Iran, with a correct understanding of this historic distrust, has never halted and will never halt its process of enhancing preparedness.

He added: Washington, in addition to military preparations, is also pursuing psychological warfare; they seek to discourage the people and instill a false sense that the conflict has ended in order to weaken Iran’s main pillar of power, which is the people’s presence on the scene. However, the intelligent Iranian nation, through its magnificent presence, will neutralize this conspiracy.

Boroujerdi, condemning recent U.S. actions in the Strait of Hormuz, stated: The naval blockade and harassment of vessels are clear examples of theft and piracy, lowering the stature of a country that claims leadership to the level of Somali pirates. The more Washington struggles along this path, the deeper it sinks into its self‑made quagmire.

He went on to refer to Iran’s new strategy and said: The Islamic Republic must not allow America’s diversionary actions to disrupt the new management of the Strait of Hormuz. We must decisively implement our new governance framework, including the “collection of transit tolls” from this strategic waterway; this is one of the manifestations of Iran’s authority following the third imposed war.
