Baqaei: Combating terrorism international responsibility

Pars Today — The spokesperson of Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in various regions of Mali.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Esmaeil Baqaei, the Foreign Ministry spokesperson, strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in different parts of Mali that led to the death of Sadio Camara, the defense minister, members of his family, and a large number of the country’s citizens. Offering condolences to the families of the victims and expressing solidarity with the government and people of Mali, Baqaei wished a speedy recovery for the injured.

He emphasized Iran’s principled stance in firmly condemning all forms of terrorism and violent extremism, and stated that combating terrorism is an international responsibility that requires cooperation and coordination among all countries, as well as continuous action against the perpetrators, organizers, supporters, and financial backers of terrorism. 

Baqaei expressed confidence that the people of Mali, through unity and solidarity, will overcome terrorism and its supporters.
