IRGC: No commercial ships, oil tankers passed through Strait of Hormuz
Pars Today — The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said in a statement that no commercial vessels or oil tankers have passed through the Strait of Hormuz in recent hours.
According to Pars Today, the IRGC announced that no commercial ships or oil tankers have crossed the Strait of Hormuz in the past hours and that the claims made by U.S. officials are baseless and completely false. It added that any other maritime movements that contradict the declared principles of the IRGC Navy will face serious risks, and violating vessels will be stopped with force.
Earlier, the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) had claimed that two U.S.-flagged commercial ships had successfully passed through the Strait of Hormuz.
