Pars Today – The President of Iran said: “The rational, logical, and national interest–based preference is to consolidate the victory of Iran’s armed forces in the diplomatic arena.”
According to Pars Today, Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, during a meeting with the commander-in-chief and a number of senior commanders of Law Enforcement Command of the Islamic Republic of Iran, expressed appreciation for the force’s tireless and sincere efforts and sacrifices during the recent war. He stated: “Despite limitations and shortages of equipment, FARAJA (Law Enforcement Command) maintained a powerful and selfless presence in ensuring Iran’s internal security.”
President Pezeshkian, referring to the role of the Iranian people and armed forces in thwarting the enemy, stated: “The Iranian nation and its powerful armed forces were able, through steadfastness and strength, to prevent the enemy from achieving its objectives and force it to accept a ceasefire and halt the war.”
Pezeshkian further said: “There are now several options before us; either we enter negotiations with dignity, strength, and in protection of national interests to secure the rights of the Iranian people, or we remain in a state of neither war nor peace, or we continue down the path of war and confrontation.”
He emphasized: “The rational, logical, and national interest–based preference is that the victory achieved by the armed forces on the battlefield should also be completed in the diplomatic arena, and that the rights of the Iranian nation be secured from a position of dignity and strength.”
