Pars Today – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy announced that since Wednesday night, around 30 commercial ships have passed through the Strait of Hormuz with permission from the Islamic Republic of Iran and in coordination with the IRGC Navy.
According to Pars Today, the naval force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) had previously released images defining a new boundary for the Strait of Hormuz. According to these images, the new boundary extends from the south of the line between Kuh-e Mobarak in Iran and the south of Fujairah in the UAE, and from the west of the line between the end of Qeshm Island in Iran and Umm Al Quwain in the UAE.
The IRGC Navy also stated that the danger zone in the Strait of Hormuz has been expanded to cover the entire length of the strait. However, this danger zone does not include the safe passages and corridors designated by the IRGC Navy. Vessels and ships are only permitted to pass through these corridors after obtaining authorization.
