Pars Today – The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, emphasizing that Tehran has demonstrated its commitment to international legal frameworks in practice, said: "The history and experience of negotiating with the Americans dictate that we exercise the utmost caution."
According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News Agency, Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, during his meeting with Asim Munir, the Commander of the Pakistani Army, while expressing gratitude for his and his government's efforts for regional stability and security, stated: "The people and officials of Pakistan are our brothers, and we have sincere affection for you. We Muslims are one single body, and we have no choice but unity, and we must strive through cooperation to improve our own situation and that of all Muslims around the world."
He added: "My sincere belief is that we must pursue the unity and cohesion of the Islamic world with practical solutions and further strengthen and expand economic, social, political, and cultural interactions between us. Increasing the level of cooperation among the peoples of Islamic countries is the most important factor in achieving and strengthening practical unity and eliminating any grounds for discord and conflict among them."
Pezeshkian, in another part of his remarks, emphasizing that the Islamic Republic of Iran has demonstrated its commitment to international legal frameworks in practice, said: "We are merely seeking to secure the legitimate and legal rights of our nation, but the history and experience of negotiating with the Americans dictate that we exercise the utmost caution."
He also stressed that war has never brought any benefit to anyone and noted: "The United States will not be victorious in this conflict, and it is the countries of the region and the world that will suffer serious losses. The Zionist regime is the only party seeking to secure its own interests in the region through war."
