Pars Today – Russia’s ambassador to international organizations in Vienna has described the U.S.-proposed anti-Iran draft resolution at the Board of Governors as “shameful” and warned of its consequences.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News Agency, Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s envoy to international organizations in Vienna, told reporters that the U.S. draft resolution submitted to the IAEA Board of Governors is shameful and warned that it signals escalation by shifting responsibility from the aggressor to the victim.

Ulyanov added that the draft has not yet been formally submitted for a vote. “I do not know whether they will proceed with it, because under the current conditions of continued U.S. and Israeli attacks against Iran, placing such documents on the table is completely meaningless,” he said.

The draft resolution prepared by the United States for the International Atomic Energy Agency Board of Governors calls on Iran to immediately clarify the status of its damaged nuclear facilities and enriched uranium stockpiles, and to provide the necessary access for verification by the agency.
