Pars Today – The Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army said during a meeting with the family of the martyr Major General Mohammad Bagheri, former Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, that the victory of the Iranian nation over its enemies will be consolidated.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Major General Hatami, Commander-in-Chief of the Army, stated during the meeting, held on the anniversary of his martyrdom, that:

“We confronted the greatest power in the world and a ruthless and criminal force that supported it, in the 12-day war and in the Ramadan war. The enemies believed they could inflict very serious damage on the sacred system of the Islamic Republic, the Islamic Revolution, and our beloved country. They came, as they say, to finish the job, but it became clear that they had made false calculations and assumptions.”

He added that Iran’s armed forces and people are indebted to the efforts of the dear martyrs, foremost among them the martyred leader and commanders such as General Bagheri.

He stressed that the enemies have not been able to and will not be able to achieve their malicious objectives against Iran.

Major General Amir Hatami also referred to lessons learned from the Ramadan and 12-day wars, stating that thanks to the blood of the martyrs, Iran has learned how to confront a criminal and major enemy such as the United States. He said they have learned not to waste even a moment on the path of progress and are currently working to put the enemy in its place, expressing hope that the achieved victory will be consolidated.

In conclusion, he said that the martyrdom of the Leader of the Revolution and commanders was deeply painful and difficult, but the enemy has clearly realized that the foundation of the Islamic Revolution and the bond between the people and the Islamic Republic system is far stronger than it had imagined. He added that the enemy must respect the Iranian nation, its beliefs, Islam, and the Islamic Republic system.
