Pars Today – The Deputy Executive Commander of the Iranian Army said that what ultimately brings hostile parties to the negotiating table is not absolute superiority in power, but the establishment of a balance of power.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News Agency, Brigadier General Alireza Sheikh, Deputy Executive Commander of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, referred to the recent imposed war and described the Iranian nation's resistance as a symbol of the country's civilizational strength.

He said: "The key to the Islamic Republic of Iran's success in confronting the enemies' assaults was the nation's reliance on its Iranian-Islamic identity and civilization, as well as its exceptional spirit of resilience and steadfastness—a characteristic that enabled it to overcome even the enemy's most advanced technologies and strategic calculations."

He added: "What ultimately brings hostile parties to the negotiating table is not absolute superiority in power, but the establishment of a balance of power. The Islamic Republic of Iran's deterrent capability and decisive response changed the enemy's calculations and prevented it from achieving its objectives."

Praising the Iranian people's presence and resilience during the difficult days of the war, Gen. Sheikh described this national solidarity as a reflection of Iran's deep-rooted culture and civilization, saying:

"The Iranian nation once again demonstrated that the country's greatest asset is its aware, resilient, and loyal people. This social capital is the most important pillar of Iran's national strength."

In another part of his remarks, referring to the decisive role of the country's elites in Iran's future, he said:

"The enemies have always placed Iranian elites among their primary targets because they are fully aware of their role in enhancing the country's scientific, technological, and defense capabilities. Therefore, the responsibility of the younger generation and the nation's elites in sustaining Iran's path of progress and strength is both historic and decisive."
