Millions perform funeral prayers led by martyred Leader’s eldest son

Pars Today – The funeral procession for the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution and his family members, which began on Thursday afternoon in Mashhad along Imam Reza Street, reached its final destination as millions of mourners gathered at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (pbuh) and the surrounding streets to perform funeral prayers led by his eldest son, Hojjatoleslam Seyyed Mostafa Hosseini Khamenei.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, the funeral procession began at around 3:00 p.m., with vast crowds surrounding the vehicle carrying the bodies of the martyred Leader and his family members. Chants of “Death to America,” “Death to Israel,” and “Death to the enemies of the Guardianship of the Jurist” echoed along the route.

Reports indicate that red flags symbolizing revenge, banners bearing the slogan “Ya Litharat al-Hussein”, and the flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran were flown throughout the procession route during the funeral ceremonies.
