Pars Today – In a new wave of drone attacks carried out by the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran as part of the seventeenth phase of Operation Thunderbolt, ammunition depots and facilities housing equipment and personnel of the U.S. military in Kuwait were targeted for a second time.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News, following violations of international treaties and the enemy’s attacks on civilian areas, the Iranian Army launched a new round of drone strikes beginning early Sunday morning. As part of the seventeenth phase of Operation Thunderbolt, the operation once again targeted the U.S. military’s ammunition depot at Camp Al-Adairi, as well as hangars containing equipment and personnel at Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait.

The Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasized: “Our war is a defense of Iran’s authentic identity, its thousands of years of history, and a people who, in the light of Islamic teachings, neither oppress others nor submit to oppression. Based on this principle, the Army’s fighters, with deep faith in this divine teaching, stand firm and resolute in defending the noble people of Iran in the face of the enemies of Iran and humanity.”
