Pars Today – The commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy said that the Strait of Hormuz remains closed, stressing that the reality must be seen on the ground, not in statements and announcements issued by US officials.
According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Rear Admiral Ali Ozamaei, commander of the IRGC Navy, said: “The Strait of Hormuz is closed, and Iran’s control over movements is complete and decisive.”
The IRGC Navy commander stressed: “No movement in the Strait of Hormuz escapes the attention of the IRGC Navy’s forces.”
Meanwhile, Mohammad Mokhber, an adviser to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, wrote on his social media account: “The most sustainable path toward a new regional order is the implementation of the Hormuz mechanism.”
He stressed: “The Leader’s definitive strategy of turning the war into an offensive one if Iran’s conditions are not met will undoubtedly alter the balance of power in the world.”
Mokhber noted: “With the United States’ inability to protect its allies in the Persian Gulf having been demonstrated, the most sustainable path toward a new regional order is the implementation of an economic-security Hormuz mechanism, independent of Washington’s military guarantees.”
